Its getting to be that time of year again. For those of you that don't know, the redfish roundup (commonly refered to as the RR) if an informal get together of AKF members and friends to fish and socialize down at the coast. We usually base camp at the cabanas at Goose Island state park(GISP). A lot of people have other places to stay which is cool but swing by at the days end to eat, drink, and tell tales. You make your own reservations and transportation. Some come for a day, others like me make a long weekend of it. No rules, no prizes, no competition, just good old fashioned coastal fishing Use this topic to make arrangements or just talk about it.

I heard from Neumi and he's bringing 6 people or so from the metroplex area and he suggested a north-south shootout. I said OK except we get Jason and Joe Say losers clean and cook the fish

Yep, looks like Cinco got the last water front cabana so only the elec/water wooded areas are going to be open. Also, there is some sort of nature get together scheduled for Goose Island this weekend so I suggest yall make your reservations ASAP!

I'll offer the following. There is 2 bedrooms upstairs with a queen each, 1 room downstairs with 2 twins and a futon in the gameroom. This will accommodate 5 people easily.
Queen bed( $130), your own room, share the upstairs bath
Twin bed ($60 each) share the room and downstairs bath
Futon($100) in the gameroom, share the downstairs bath
These rates are for 3 nights accommodation. Check in Thursday 10/7, check out Sunday 10/10 11am.
I'd need full payment by Sept. 15th to hold your spot. IF the weather is lousy, I can cancel my reservation with a 72 hour notice and get my deposit back and I would return your payment. PM me if interested
